Certain features of the App require a paid subscription ("Premium"). Subscriptions are offered on a monthly basis and are processed through the Apple App Store.
All billing and payment disputes are handled directly by Apple under their respective store policies.
All content in the App — including text, illustrations, lesson materials, quiz questions, herbal descriptions, acupoint data, and AI-generated answers — is owned by or licensed to TCMBOK App and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. This licence does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
The App provides educational content about Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for informational purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related decisions. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you read in this App.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any content in the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TCMBOK App and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The App integrates with third-party services including Clerk (authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), and DeepSeek AI (AI Guide). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service providers.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
